Italian Society for the History of Science (SISS)
SISS’ mission is the dissemination of the history of science and technology in its many aspects related to the economic, social and environmental implications and in relationship with other fields of study, such as arts and literature. Our association aims at enhancing the Italian tangible and intangible heritage variously related to the history of science and technology, in terms of museums, libraries, archives, landscapes. It gathers Italian scholars and enthusiasts of the history of science and promotes gender equality and social inclusion.
